Caerphilly Castle Ice Rink
For the past couple of years, Caerphilly Castle has been transformed into a Christmas wonderland, where guests have been able to take part in outdoor ice-skating on a real ice rink, indulge in treats from a pop-up cafe and enjoy visits from Father Christmas.
I was asked to create an illustration for use on all publicity materials to advertise the initial event (Caerphilly’s famous leaning tower is prominent in the background silhouette). I was then asked to design a series of posters, flyers, web banners, invitations, magazine adverts and merchandise packaging featuring the illustration.
The event was a huge success and I was asked to create an updated version of the illustration for use the following year.
